Thailand Flag
The explanation for the symbols of the Thai Flag
The flag of Thailand was adopted on 28 October 1917. It is composed of five horizontal stripes: red - white - blue - white - red. Red, as in many national flags, is for struggle of the patriots for independence, and the blood shed by them. The white symbolizes the purity of the country’s virtues, but also the religion. Finally, the blue is widely regarded as the national color of Thailand. An elephant was long drawn in its center, which related to the Chakri dynasty. It was removed in 1916. the flag is also widely used as in United State, and is a strong sign of patrotism in the country.
